Wahoo!!! You've found the perfect lodging on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake. Perfect for the whole family or just that group of fishing buddies. This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath home located minutes from Barkley Dam boat ramp and Kentucky Lake State Resort Marina. This is where family fun is affordable. It is also the perfect location to stay during the fishing tournaments - centrally located between both Barkley Dam and Kentucky Dam where the boats are put in the lakes for the tournaments. Just minutes from each ramp and is only 1.5 miles from Barkley Dam and 3 miles from Kentucky Dam. The home is only minutes (2 miles) from downtown Grand Rivers, KY where you will find Patty's Settlement, antique shopping, live theater and live music in the park. Kentucky Lake State Resort is just a short drive (3 miles) away where you can play a game of golf or tennis and the kids can be entertained with horseback riding, go carts, miniature golf, sand beaches and boat and jet ski rental. The Trail head of the Land Between the Lakes is also just minutes away which provides hiking, bike trails, elk & bison prairies and a plantatarium. The house is located in a great neighborhood so you can get away from the crowd and have no worries about parking on our extra large, blacktop drive that will hold 8 vehicles. There is plenty of room for the children to play in the large front and back yards. The house has hardwood floors throughout. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 double beds all with new linens. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you will need - microwave, coffeemaker, ice tea maker, blender, gas cook top and oven, toaster oven, garbage disposal and dishwasher. When you return to the house after your fun-filled day on the water, or any of the other fabulous activities nearby, you can grill out under the covered patio comlete with outdoor lighting, charcoal grill, and countertop height table and chairs. We want to get you off to a great start so we provide 1 roll of paper towels, 3 garbage bags, coffee filters, 2 rolls of toilet paper, dishwasher detergent and dish washing detergent. If you need more, there is a Dollar General Store 2 blocks over on Hwy 62. We do not provide any perishable items but the IGA grocery store is just a short drive down the road to pick up the things you will need. There is fun to be had and just waiting to happen. Bring along your family or friends and enjoy this very nice home just minutes from Barkley Lake and Kentucky Lake. This is a retreat that is almost magical and effortless.
